New club night in Nashville: Fascination Street

For those in the Nashville area (or those willing to travel), this Saturday night (July 6th) brings the first edition of my brand new dance/club event, Fascination Street. The focus for this night is on current and classic permutations of post-punk, deathrock, darkwave, and traditional goth music. The goal is to bridge the gap between the sounds that the goth scene was built on, and the bands that have picked up that torch, run with it, or used its fire to expand our horizons ever since.

For listeners of "Out ov the Coffin," you can expect a mix of music not unlike the first hour or so of each podcast, choosing the songs that make people move, but without getting into the techno/ebm/trance realm.
